I'm still learning how to use my Nikon D40x that I got for Christmas last year. My friend Dave showed me a few neat tricks with the manual setting. If anyone has any tips PLEASE let me know.

I'm also interested in getting a macro lens and some filters. Any suggestions on what brand or type would be amazing.

Once this semester is over I plan on spending more time taking pictures. I want to try something new. I'm getting tired of taking the same macro and landscape pictures.
